THERE IS DYNAMITE IN PRAISE – 3/13/2022 – Pt 1
Affirming God’s promises through praise.
The only universal praise word that is the same in any nation around the world and a very powerful word.
- PRAISING GOD CONTINUALLY
Rev. 19:1 Celebration in Heaven After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord! Salvation is from our God. Honor and authority belong to him alone;
Rev. 19:4 4 Then the twenty-four Elders and four Living Beings fell down and worshiped God, who was sitting upon the throne, and said, “Amen! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!”
Rev. 19:6
6 Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder: shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
God required sacrifice offerings In the OT. Which He does not require anymore.
But He requires sacrifice of praise. “Let us offer the sacrifice of praise unto God.
Psalm 34:1
I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace.
Heb 13:15
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.
John 15:8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
God commands us to offer to him the sacrifice of praise continually.
Psalm 50:23
But true praise is a worthy sacrifice; this really honors me.
- WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, TRY PRAISING
Matt. 18:19
19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.
Psalm 22:3
for you are holy. The praises of our fathers surrounded your throne; they trusted you and you delivered them.
Acts 2:46-47
46 They worshiped together regularly at the Temple each day, met in small groups in homes for Communion, and shared their meals with great joy and thankfulness, 47 praising God. The whole city was favorable to them, and each day God added to them all who were being saved.
Psalm 50:23
But true praise is a worthy sacrifice; this really honors me. Those who walk my paths will receive salvation from the Lord.
